Client/Context: Louis Compton, Solo planet founder of the Clothing brand.

Brief / Objective

Create Logo, with alternative options and create back-piece artwork for other projects.

Process

Look into typography, overall brand design.

Create a brand, what is the target audience.

Design styles, matching Client's objectives.

Final Deliverables

Colour palette, type system, overall aesthetic.

Type usage guidelines.

Bold logo, unique style, with simplistic overall style.

Outcome

The Logo on the right is the final outcome, with alternative designs.

ARTWORK FOR THE BACK OF T-SHIRTS

Outcome

This project was formulated due to my own experience with a creative block whilst figuring out what I wanted to do for my final project, so I created a few projects that were a word search that aimed at reaching the other parts of your brain that allow you to see something that may not be there, or that someone else can't see. this lead to the Creative block app.

ANGRY

Designed for a white T- shirt, original design that encapsulates a state of mind, but mainly up for the viewer to decide.

SOLO PLANET

The orignal back-piece design meant for the original logo, bold, uniuqe artwork style that can start an ever-growing brand.

RICHARD

I created this for a specific brief I was given, using photoshop to create, able to be printed on a screen printer.

WAVES AND CURVES

Another back design for a black T shirt with original logo to be on the front.

MAIN INSPIRATION

Outcome

For this project, I used my previous experience designing posters, culminating in an overall design in which was created using aspects of previous work that were deemed successful.

ORIGINAL CONCEPT

This was the inital idea I had for the poster, obviously developed to fit guildlines, and also with general concpet development.

COLOUR THEORY

A main inspiration for the colour pallet was this poster I created, its a visual print, created to fomulate a broken hearts of sorts.

AESTHETIC

Whilest creating for this project, I utilised my previous experience during University briefs, where I created posters for 'Snatch'. Taking ideas that could help create a visial experiecne similar to this.

SIMPLICITY

My favourate poster was this one, aimed at movie buffs, and if you know you know. And I liked the idea of prioritising a simply overall feel for D.I.IKE.
